Our Oracy Road Map
Oracy is not only about talking it is about listening. Our younger children focus on showing active listening and as we move through the school, children learn to talk for a range of purposes to a wide range of audiences.
Oracy runs through our curriculum with oracy outcomes in every year group every term. Children learn to present their ideas, debate, make speeches, conduct themselves during interviews, act as tour guides and read the news amongst other opportunities.
Oracy runs through every interaction with every child in every class, every day.
