Welcome to St. Barnabas CofE Primary School (Green Lane, Worcester, WR3 8NZ)

Vision Statement

We aim to:

Inspire a positive approach to life and learning;

Value and nurture each child as an individual: developing resilience, independence, and an understanding of what they bring to the world;

Create a rich, stimulating environment where achievements are celebrated and team work and co-operation are expected;

Promote high expectations and self-confidence for each individual;

Ensure each child strives towards excellence supporting those who find learning difficult and challenging the most able children;

Develop and foster motivation for learning and enthusiasm for life;

Promote a sense of belonging and build outstanding relationships between school, home, church and the wider community.

Help every person understand their unique purpose and place in God’s world.

Take a look at the following Gallery of Photos to see our Children embracing Gods World

Pre school children explore God’s world learning about plants and creatures and how to share our space!

And

Our youngest children share the Christmas story with a beautiful retelling of the Nativity.

Children in Years 1 and 2 take part in the Easter Experience, learning about Jesus on the cross and the hope and love that He brings to our world.

We love learning about God’s world!

We celebrate Christmas together at St. Barnabas church, with children leading worship.

We show our love to our community in different ways.

Worship group led the Eucharist Service at St. Barnabas church, reminding us all of the Easter story.

John 3:16 God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but have eternal life.

Our community comes together for different events such as The Light Festival with every class taking part.

At St. Barnabas every child has a voice and we try to use them as a force for good!

In recognition of our commitment to the environment the Princess Royal visited our school to plant a special tree for the Queen’s Green Canopy. It was a very special day.

We showed perseverance when we ran the Mini Marathon in London.
