Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club at St Barnabas starts at 7:45 a.m. and provides a great start for children prior to the school day.
Children are offered a breakfast selection of healthy cereals, buttered toast with jam or honey, fruit and a drink. Some days we have special breakfast days with porridge, bagels, yoghurt, chocolate spread, continental breakfast or foods from around the world.
Children are offered a drink of water or milk and on special days or when it is very cold weather, hot chocolate.
As with all situations where food is provided by the school, if your child has a specific dietary need or health condition school must be informed in writing prior to your child attending.
Children have access to both indoor and outdoor play and can use this time to enjoy the freedom of playing with their friends before school starts. Children are supervised in a safe environment, with our dedicated team on standby in case of tumbles or squabbles and provide care and good supervision at all times.
The school charges a flat fee of £2.50 per child regardless of the drop off time. There is no need to book your child in to breakfast club, you just turn up, pay the fee and off they go!
Children are escorted down to their classes at 8:40 a.m. when they will be starting their normal school day.

After School Club
After school Care at St Barnabas runs from 3:15 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. and provides a service for working parents.
If you are at work and need us to look after your child during these times, the school provides a rich and varied activity session where trained staff members provide a safe, caring and happy environment for children. Indoor and outdoor play is on offer with a mix of organised activities and free play suitable for the ages of our Primary aged pupils.
At the end of a busy school day children need to be re-fueled so we provide a light tea at around 4:15 when we serve a varied but simple menu, for example, jacket potatoes, wraps or beans on toast.
As with Breakfast Club and School meals, we must be informed in writing of any specific dietary requirements or food related health conditions before attending ASC.

Wraparound Care is great value for money:
£5.00 for session 1 (3:15 – 4:30 p.m.)
£5.00 for session 2 (4:30-5:30 p.m.)
We do ask Parents to be prompt when picking their children up if your child is at school until 5:30 p.m.
We reserve the right to charge a late collection fee of £5.00 for regular late collections.
We usually offer three weeks a year of Holiday Club (one over Easter, two mid summer) for St. Barnabas children with some limited spaces for children who attend other schools via the Worcestershire HAF programme.
We do not accept children from other schools to attend our daily Wraparound Care.
